Lead designer/developer on back-end systems that performed accounting functions across millions of accounts and 35,000 workflows daily. The system dealt heavily with initiating and managing funds transfers, reconciling with external banking systems, tracking large volumes of complex dynamic transfer workflows to completion, automated problem detection and resolution, and efficiently maintaining running balances for accounts and transfer workflows.
LEAD SQL Programmer / SQL DB Experience Necessary
Proctor Financial has an immediate opening for a SQL Programmer. This person will join a maintenance / support team that is responsible for coding, testing and implementing (after QA), custom SQL reports for both internal and external clients. The person should have a good understanding of SQL databases, and know how to code to use a SQL DB. The team has both development and support responsibilities. They are also responsible for monitoring ongoing jobs and processes to insure that PFI’s clients’ data is imported, exported, and managed correctly each day. This individual will query data to perform research and solve problems reported by PFI’s clients. It’s a good learning environment for someone who wants to work in a team that is always being challenged to learn more and better analysis and programming skills. The team also works directly with our internal and external clients – thus allowing them to gain a deeper understanding of how PFI’s business works, and how to build better specifications for their programs. Additionally, this individual will work closely with our senior Architecture team on more complex development activities. This mentoring model helps PFI’s SQL programmers to expand their skillset and become exposed to more challenging projects. It’s a great opportunity for someone who has good aptitude in SQL development, and seeks to increase their depth of experience, both functional and technical.
